Academy Sponsorship & Prizes 2007

On the 10th anniversary of the academy we are laying the foundations for sponsorship for a new generation of fencing that promotes its potentials and achievers with a combination of sponsorship and Prizes This is the only way one could look to the future with serious attitude towards producing a world class team.

During 2006 we will be seriously studying in more details the various needs of sponsorship to shape more effective deals to offer. We will also be looking for partners in the business community to help us deliver these deals.

In the mean while and to kick start this initiative the Academy is announcing the following deals for 2006.

[1] Prizes for results

This can be achieved at any open event to non academy fencers. This will include U10 & U12 academy Cup as well as the London League

  Individual Team (per person)
Gold £100 cash £30 voucher
Silver £60 voucher £20 voucher
Bronze £25 voucher £10 voucher
 
[2] Sponsorship for Target

This is a sponsorship deal to help fencers achieve a specific goal during the year. Fencers applying for this sponsorship need to:
1. Commit to 95% attendance.
2. Lay out their goals for this year
3. Show how they are going to achieve them.
4. Commit to adhere to their programme

Successful applicants will have 50% of their bill for the following items paid back to them. They will pay for these as normal but they will be issued with a special form to reimburse them on a monthly basis.

1. Club fee cost
2. Private lessons fees
3. Repair costs
 
[3] Sponsorship for Commitment

This sponsorship is for committed fencers who show attendance, punctuality and a good training attitude all around. This sponsorship is provided this year by the maestro to fencers who in need of regular lessons for good potential results in this year.

Fencers approved for this category receive a regular lesson slot for free. They must inform the maestro if they are unable to attend a lesson 4 weeks in advance. If they inform the maestro less than 4 weeks in advance, then they would have to pay for that lesson. If they miss a lesson without prior warning they will lose that lesson spot.
